" The most courageous thing we can do is follow our calling. To create our lives through vulnerability and connection is what gives us the strength to do so." - Angela Marie Maxwell
I speak from the trail, not just the physical one, but the emotional, spiritual, and cultural paths we walk when we step far outside our comfort zones.
Over seven years and 20,000 miles on foot across four continents, I’ve walked through remote villages, dense cities, sacred mountains, and deserts, often alone — and always listening. What draws me to speak isn’t the distance I’ve covered, but the deeply human moments I’ve experienced: sitting quietly with a grandmother in Mongolia as she shared a fading tradition; volunteering in a village in Southeast Asia to help support women-led community efforts; walking with my mother after years apart, rediscovering both our bond and the healing power of reconnection.
My talks are rooted in the vulnerable side of courage — how we rise through uncertainty, how solitude can sharpen connection, and how deep commitment to a dream or mission leads us into unexpected transformation.
I speak about:
Before I walked the world, I worked as a women’s counselor and small business consultant. That foundation — of listening deeply, supporting change, and encouraging personal transformation — still shapes the way I connect with every audience I meet. When I speak, I share it all. The raw truth. The moments of awe. The fear. The joy. And most of all, the practical lessons that help us live more courageously and compassionately.

I speak about:
- The power of slow travel to dissolve barriers and foster compassion
- How we move beyond our perceived limits through intuition, empathy, and presence
- Embracing discomfort, doubt, and change as portals to clarity and purpose
- The importance of preserving local culture and tradition in a rapidly homogenizing world
- Volunteering and engaging meaningfully with communities while traveling
- What it means to “walk toward peace” in a world that too often rushes past itself
