LIVING ON LESS. GIVING MORE.
"We have to wake up and we have to roar. This is not only an activist job; this is every woman's job. We have to stand up and start telling our stories." -Zainab Salbi
Below are ways you can be a part of the walk.
Help Keep Girl's Free and Educated
I walk as a free woman. A woman free to choose an education, a profession, where she lives and her personal and political opinions. Many girls and women today don't have the right or the support to share their voices, their dreams or perspectives. In a world continuously enduring warfare and a global network informing us what's happening in the world, we have the ability, more than any other time, to help each other and to share our stories.
My walk is currently unsponsored-never has been. I live as minimally as I can on a very tight budget ($5 or less a day). I view it is an experiment of living on less while trying to give more. I work to save up money to fund my own walk and living on a small budget is also out of necessity.
But even as I live in a tent, I chose this experience. Many women who experience the violence of war, sex trafficking, poverty and religious oppression is something I will never know like they do. And somehow they find the will and bravado to keep walking. These are the truly courageous women I admire.

I give 50% of every donation to Her Future Coalition
Her Future Coalition is dedicated to preventing young girls from being kidnapped, sex trafficked or abused by sheltering and educating them. My hopes are that my walk can help.
